There is no better way to ring in the new year than by marrying your best friend. When you choose to get married on the last day of the year, it only makes sense to follow it up with a big dance party to celebrate—surrounded by all of your favorite people. And that’s exactly what Hallie and Chase did. I can’t think of a better way to end the year than by capturing a wedding on New Year’s Eve.

From start to finish, this wedding was filled with love, joy, and an abundance of excitement. Despite the cloudy, rainy Tuesday weather, the couple’s guests brought so much warmth and light to the day that it felt like the sun was shining. The energy was contagious, and the dance floor was packed all night, celebrating not just the couple’s love, but the joy of a fresh start and new beginnings.

As I reflect on this past year, I feel so incredibly grateful for all the weddings I had the privilege of capturing. Every single one was a unique and beautiful celebration, but there’s something extra special about ending the year with a wedding that was full of so much love and anticipation for what’s to come.
